The Cinema Project /
This is based at st lukes parish centre .With funding form Brinnington big local we have set an other group up to run the cinema . Before we got the cinema up and running we held a competition to come up with the name and logo this was held by the 3 local schools the winners came form st.pauls and st Bernadette’s schools. the cinema name was to be called movieland and the logo was to be a movie camera and stars .This project was started on the Saturday 10th October 2015 . there was a grand opening on the night . The first night was a huge success and was a full house . and the cinema as gone on to proved to be popular . Its run every second Saturday of the month . it is for the whole family to enjoy ..the prices are very low . adults £2./. and children £ 1 ..the times are doors open at 5pm film at 5.30pm ..the next dates for the cinema in 2016 are ..Feb 13th / Mar 12th / Apr 9th / May 7th / Jun 11th / Jul 9th / Aug 13th / Sep 10th / Oct 8th / Nov 12th and Dec 10th …ALL CRILDREN MUST BE ACOMPANYED BY AN ADULT
The Garden Project ./
The communal garden at the at the side of the Lighthouse Church will be open soon. It has been call Green Thumbs. This garden is for wheelchair user and children. These people will come first in line. We are hoping to have a grand opening and everybody is welcome. It is being funded by Brinnington Big Local (BBL).
